Auro Chocolate Unsweetened Cacao Drink

Ingredients Steps
  • 150g 100% Auro Chocolate Tablea
  • 300ml milk or water 

     

  1. Put all the liquid in a large bowl set over a pot of simmering water. The bottom of the bowl should not touch the water directly. 
  2. Slowly add the chocolate coins while stirring. Continue to stir until all the chocolate has melted and to heat until the mixture is hot. 
  3. Whisk vigorously for 1 minute until the mixture is shiny and emulsified. Small bubbles/froth should start to form on the sides of the bowl. Be careful not to boil. 
  4. Remove from the heat and pour into mugs. Serve immediately. 

 

Note: We like our hot chocolate on the thicker side. Feel free to reduce the amount of cacao to your liking. We recommend starting with at least 20% chocolate to 80% liquid. Enjoy!
