Sales Supervisor Retail

I. JOB SUMMARY

Our sales team is the main revenue driver for our business. Our goal is to be the best chocolate partner across categories, geographies and channels, delivering growth and solutions for our customers and ourselves. The Sales Supervisor Retail plays a key role in making Auro Chocolate one of the leading premium chocolate brands in the market. They will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and growing company opportunities and revenue. They will oversee the development of e-commerce and retail trade channels to meet strategic organization goals, gain market share and maximize return of trade investment.


II. DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

  1. Lead retail sales associates and administrators to meet targets, improve efficiency and productivity, and achieve sustained, sustainable growth. 
  2. Manage entire sales cycle and day-to-day operations including nationwide expansion, lead generation and tracking, sales order fulfillment and delivery, customer service and account management.
  3. Develop programs and provide support for all activities necessary to managing the customer relationship effectively including invoicing and return queries, relevant sales promotions, merchandising, shelf management, etc.
  4. Track weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and sales metrics. Provide insightful analysis using internal and external data to develop and implement effective strategies. 
  5. Coordinate closely with Marketing to conduct market research, streamline existing products and develop new ones to enter new categories and expand existing customer base, coordinate trade support activities and promote key clients and collaborations. 
  6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with account representatives and other industry stakeholders across all levels to deliver net revenue and outstanding return on trade spend.
  7. Review, negotiate and implement contract terms. 
  8. Collect inputs from different partners (marketing, supply chain, distributors, etc) and build an accurate forecast based on market demand to ensure sustained sales growth.
  9. Spearhead recruitment, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of team members.

     

    III. QUALIFICATION

    1. 3 to 5 years of professional sales experience in the food industry, particularly in retail sales and merchandising
    2. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
    3. Highly organized: able to maintain accurate and consistent documents/records
    4. Experience and knowledge in:
        a. Retail key account management demonstrating credibility with stakeholders management
        b. Category management
        c. Communicating effectively
        d. Negotiation
        e. Maintaining and building effective relationships
        f. Presenting to all levels of an organization
        g. Budgeting and forecasting
    5. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally
