The Sales Associate - Retail is expected to make Auro Chocolate one of the leading brands in the market. The Sales Associate is responsible for developing, implementing and managing strategies to achieve company sales targets, concentrating on Institutional Clients.
II. DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
A. Sales
Develop and monitor sales targets
Identify potential customers and set approach strategies
Negotiate agreements to meet or exceed sales objective
B. Administrative
Maintain a database of all customers for timely, clear and concise understanding
Coordinate shipping schedules and timely delivery of goods
Work with the Marketing Team in organization and execution of events and product launches
C. Client Interaction
Develop strong, long-term client relationships
Resolve issues and handle customer complaints quickly and effectively
D. Other Responsibilities
Support and participate in Auro’s presence at local and international tradeshows and conferences
May perform other duties as needed
III. BASIC RELATIONSHIP
Reports to Managing Directors
Works closely with Marketing Department
Coordinates timelines with the Production Team
III. JOB SPECIFICATION
2-3 years of professional sales experience in the food industry (HORECA)
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized: able to maintain accurate and consistent documents/records
Strong written and verbal communication, effective organization, ability to work independently and collaboratively, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ability and willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally
