In 1948, Yoshio Ikeda founded Ikeda Senchado — a heritage Japanese brand situated in Tenmonkan. Nearby stands Sakurajima, a majestic 13, 000-year-old active volcano and a symbol of the Kagoshima Prefecture, famously known as one of the leading tea-growing regions in all of Japan. Ikeda Senchado is led by Kenta Ikeda of the third generation. He currently holds the highest rank of 10th Grade tea master in Japan.
Together with Mr. Ikeda, we have skillfully crafted this exquisite single origin chocolate infused with his most coveted brand of hojicha — the perfect union between Japan and the Philippines.
